Release Date
You are free to choose whatever release date suits your schedule.
To meet your release date, we have a minimum of 7 days of delivery time to allow for Quality Control and guarantee that the release gets to all chosen targets on time..
When the release date has arrived, the status will change to Released, and the generated Smartlink will change from a pre-save to take you to the major DSPs where the release has been delivered.
Just because you can release music quickly doesn't mean you should.
We recommend you give your releases ample time before the release date to do playlist pitching to the various DSPs and other promotional work. Three weeks is optimal. Having a longer lead time also allows you to work out any issues with artist mappings or requests to access the profile ahead of time.
Apple and Spotify recommend at least two weeks' notice for consideration on their playlists. Read more on playlist pitching here:
