The Monthly Overview page

Your monthly performance at a glance

In the Monthly Overview you get a quick summary of each month’s performance and can compare months. Each list shows the top performers by sum of Total Royalties for the selected month.

To see your monthly overview, tap the MONTHLY OVERVIEW item in the sidebar (or menu of mobile). Select different months in the Report Period drop down at the top of the page. The Monthly Overview only shows one month’s performance at a time.

Total Royalties

This is the sum of royalties generated (after Labelcaster’s fee) before any splits have been deducted for a given report month, in other words the total royalty value of the catalog for the month. The total in all the charts are based on this value.

Your Split

Your Split is the royalties that allocated to entity that is viewing the report for the given report month—that could be a label, or an artist or other participant, as indicated by the entity in the upper right hand corner of the page.

Territories

A heat map of the world showing each country’s performance by the sum of Total Royalties. Tap a country to get a pop-up of details. The legend shows the scale with the top performing country’s royalty sum.

DSPs

Top Tracks

Top Artists

⚠️
Note: if the entity viewing is an artist, the Top Artist list isn’t shown because there is only the one artist to be displayed. In that case, all the lists and totals reflect that artist only.

💡
The Monthly Overview is a quick way to glance at your report data for a single month. It isn’t intended to be an exhaustive list of every item in your catalog. Other than selecting a report month, it does not provide any filtering or customization. For more detail, we recommend that you download your Detailed CSV report and and use a data tool like Excel, GoogleSheet, Tableau, Looker or the like. More info can be found here.
