Can I sign artists to my label?

Of course! We have used the best legal expertise around to create label/artist contract templates. The contracts are designed to cover mechanical license and the royalty splits for digital music distribution between labels and artists. When the royalties come in from the streaming services, our system transfers royalties to all parties based on the contractual splits.

All contracts are signed though our platform and saved digitally in our secure cloud service. They are available for viewing and download anytime by all parties—fully transparent and fair.

Of course, if you wish, you can use your own offline contracts and have us handle the splits.

Run your label and distribute music by as many artists as you like. We let you invite all participants (artists, collaborators, etc.) to be on Labelcaster at no additional cost.

The contracts we provide are not artist career agreements. We provide license agreements tied to each release specifically. You, are of course, are free to sign artists to your label outside of the Labelcaster. If you have established splits in a meta level contracts, with each release you’ll indicate the split arrangement in accordance with that “offline” agreement. No problem.
