We set up LBCR MATCH so artists and labels can find their perfect match, set up a deal and release music happily ever after. Sometimes artists don’t find that match. Labelcaster Records is a clearinghouse record label that lets artists subscribed to LBCR MATCH distribute and release music themselves.
Labelcaster Records functions as an aggregator, taking a 20% split of royalties after distribution charges. Like an aggregator, Labelcaster Records does not provide full record-label support, including A&R, promotion and marketing services, distribution to specialty platforms like YouTube Content ID, Beatport, Traxsource, etc. or any other label services.
All releases that go through Labelcaster Records are subject to quality control checks by Labelcaster and must meet DSP guidelines. Labelcaster makes no guarantees that submitted materials (audio, cover art, metadata) will be approved and may decide later to remove content based on DSP requests and feedback.
To release music on Labelcaster Records, a user must be actively subscribed to LBCR MATCH. Once music is released through Labelcaster Records, it will remain live on the DSPs forever; subscription fees are not required to keep the releases and tracks live and paying out royalties, but new releases do require an active paid subscription. Royalty splits remain intact. Users may take down or transfer their catalog at any time.
