A simple royalty split agreement
To protect all parties, the Labelcaster system requires that all releases have distribution agreements in place. If you choose to use your own license agreements, we still require that split percentage for each track/release are established. We’ve created a simple split built-in agreement to handle how royalties will be split amongst the various participants.
You add those splits after you’ve uploaded your distribution agreement for the release. It includes all artists, as well as any other participants you choose to add. You can invite new artists (participants) to Labelcaster as you set the splits up. Once you have it set up, you will “sign” the agreement and our e-signature system will take care of getting all other parties signed. When royalties come in from the various DSPs, Labelcaster than reports and pays all participants according to the splits set up in the contract.
